This site, federalretirementconsultant.com, is operated by the Federation of Federal Employee Benefit Advocates LLC (FFEBA), the organization behind the Federal Retirement Consultant℠ designation. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, how we use it, who can see it, and the choices you have. It applies to this site only.
Effective date: July 21, 2026.
Information you give us. When you submit a form, book a benefits review, or contact us, we collect what you provide: typically your name, email address, phone number, a requested time, and anything you tell us about your situation or goals. When you use the verification tool, we receive the name you type in order to run the search.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers record standard technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you view. We use this for security, to prevent abuse of our tools, and to understand how the site is used.
We use the information you share to respond to you, to schedule and run your benefits review, to connect you with a credentialed Federal Retirement Consultant, to keep the site secure, and to improve our education and tools. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Your information is shared only where it is needed to handle your request: with the consultant who takes your review, and with the service providers that run our infrastructure, such as website hosting, our customer relationship system, email delivery, and appointment scheduling. Those providers may use your information only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
The site uses only the cookies and similar technologies needed to operate, such as security and rate-limit protections. We do not currently run advertising pixels on this site. If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy first.
We keep the information you submit for as long as it is needed to handle your request and to meet our record-keeping and legal obligations, and we delete or de-identify it when it is no longer needed. You can request deletion at any time using the contact below.
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can opt out of further contact at any time. Depending on where you live, state privacy law may give you additional rights; we honor verified requests regardless of your state. To exercise any of these, email info@federalretirementconsultant.com.
By submitting a form or booking a review, you agree that we and the consultant handling your request may contact you about it by phone, text message, or email. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving any service. Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to end texts or use the opt-out in any email.
This site is written for current and former federal employees and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If we change this policy, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be noted plainly at the top.
